Use the Vitamix Food Processor Attachment to extend the function of your Vitamix Ascent Series blender. The 12-cup capacity work bowl attaches to the Self-Detect Base, which is compatible with any Vitamix Ascent Series motor base. Mince, mix and knead with the multi-use blade, or use the two reversible slice/shred discs for coarse and fine shredding and slicing. Food chutes and pushers fit inside the lid. Work bowl, lid, and food chutes and pushers are made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan copolyester. Slice/shred discs and multi-use blad are made from stainless steel. All parts are dishwasher safe except for the Self-Detect Base.
